On the True Activist Website, there is an article published June 7, 2016 entitled “Seattle-Caught Salmon Found To Contain Cocaine, Antidepressants, And Pain Relievers.” It is a rather precise headline, leaving very little to be explained. The detail is however extremely riveting.
“According to a recent study, up to 81 drugs and personal-care products were detected in the flesh of salmon caught in the Puget Sound. Some of the drugs include Prozac, Advil, Benadryl, Lipitor, and even cocaine. The Seattle Times reports that the levels are believed to be so high because either people in the area use more of the drugs detected, or because waste water plants are unable to fully remove the chemicals during treatment. Another theory is that leaky septic tanks are contributing to the problem, as high fecal coliform counts were detected. Some of the drugs and contaminates found include Flonase, Aleve, Tylenol, Paxil, Valium, Zoloft, Tagamet, OxyContin, Darvon, Nicotine, caffeine, Fungicides, antiseptics, anticoagulants, as well as plenty of antibiotics.” “Seattle-Caught Salmon Found to Contain Cocaine, Antidepressants, And Pain Relievers.” published June 7, 2016
One of the explanations given by the Seattle Times suggests that usage of the drugs is higher in that immediate area, and maybe the waste water plants are unable to remove the chemicals. Jim Meador, an environmental toxicologist at NOAA’s Northwest Fisheries Science Center in Seattle and lead author on a paper published this week in the journal Environmental Pollution. Said that:
“The concentrations in effluent were higher than we expected. We analyzed samples for 150 compounds and we had 61 percent of them detected in effluent. One would think that such a discovery would cause everyone to take a cautious look at the matter. After all the number of drugs found might just have a serious impact upon those who eat the fish. But I was astounded to discover that:
“Intriguingly, the researchers are not concerned about the effect the cocktail of drugs will have on the humans who eat the fish, but they are concerned about how the chemicals are affecting wildlife. Reportedly, Meador’s other recent work has shown that juvenile chinook salmon migrate through contaminated estuaries in Puget Sound and die at twice the rate of fish elsewhere. The report reveals that about 97,000 pounds of drugs enter the Puget Sound every year. 97, 000 pound is not an amount to be ignored, we’ve also been assured that this continuing pollution is not likely to cease. So the question must be asked, how many other bodies of water are being polluted by the continual waste of drug residue?
On the 8th June 2016 - Hundreds of dead fish wash up in a lake in Kananaskis, Canada. On the 7th June 2016 - 20 turtles and other marine animals wash up dead in Santa Rosalia, Mexico, And 4,500 birds killed due to avian flu in central Hong Kong. On the 6th June 2016, Massive die off of fish along 15km of coast of Tabasco, Mexico. Also on the 6th June 2016 - 10,000 birds killed due to avian flu in Landes, France. On the 3rd June 2016 - 90 TONS of fish die in West Java, Indonesia and 86,000 birds killed from avian flu in Niger. On the 2nd June 2016, - Large number of dead birds being found, 'a mystery' in Martins Ferry, Ohio, America and 10,000+ chickens killed due to avian flu in Yunlin County, Taiwan. On the 1st June 2016 - Hundreds of dead fish found washed up on Prince Edward Island in Canada. On the 30th May 2016, Hundreds of fish die in lake Independence, Minnesota, America and Hundreds of fish die in a lake in Bengaluru, India. On the 29th May 2016 - Thousands of fish turn up dead along the coast of Catia La Mar in Venezuela. On the 28th May 2016, - 2 Humpback whales found dead on beaches in Santa Catarina, Brazil. On the 27th May 2016 - 35,000 birds killed due to avian flu in Cameroon. On the 26th May 2016 - Hundreds of dead fish wash up on a beach in Gulfport, Mississippi, America. On the 24th May 2016 - Large fish kill found on a river in Negros Occidental, Philippines and Hundreds of thousands of dead fish wash up on Grand Isle beach in Louisiana, America along with a Mass die off of fish found in a lake in Nam Dinh, Vietnam.
23rd May 2016 - Massive die off of fish in the waterways of Palm Beach County, Florida, America and Hundreds of thousands of fish die in a reservoir in Chanthaburi, Thailand.
Notice the dates quoted in the above detail. This is just in the period of a month and a half. The fact that the animals created by God have always been for a warning of the safety of the environment, it is now clear that they are doing their job by warning us of the poisoned seas and atmosphere. The warning is clear. Heed the warning.
